Pierre hopes to return to the points this weekend in Hungary

After a bad weekend at the British Grand Prix for Alpine, sacrificed on his side with numerous penalties for power unit component changes, the man from Normandy is taking stock of the damage.

‘Silverstone was shaping up to be difficult with our power unit penalty on the grid, but it was still a real shame not to be able to start with our gearbox problem.’

‘The changing conditions offered huge opportunities that we would have tried to exploit, like in Montreal, but it just wasn't our day and we need to learn and sort out our worries.’

‘Everyone in the team is working incredibly hard. This trio was no exception and it's disappointing for all of us to leave without a result. We know what needs to be improved and I'm excited about what we're preparing. We'll be giving it our all before the summer break in a fortnight' time, starting this weekend in Hungary.’

‘The Hungaroring is an intense circuit in terms of driving, but one of the most enjoyable on the calendar.
